Challenge: This splash page is for a small business that sells a variety of homemade goods. The design of the splash page is supposed to attract new customers with bright colors, photography that creates movement throughout the page, and intriguing typography.
Solution: By breaking up the box layout with photography was a way to make this splash page design relate to the homemade goods that are sold on the website. The bright accent colors paired with the neutral background tones are a way to create movement throughout the information on the page. The display fonts are meant to relate to the homemade goods that are sold on the website. They are paired with an easy to read san serif to show the more descriptive text.
