Challenge: This website is for a small business that sells a variety of homemade goods. The design of the website is supposed to attract new customers with bright colors, photography that creates movement throughout the site, and intriguing typography.
Solution: The use of bright colors like orange, yellow, blue, and pink are meant to draw new people into the site. These colors are paired with a light hover to create a worn look that relates to the handmade items sold on the site. The photography breaking out of the box is meant to create movement throughout the site while not looking like a typical e-commerce layout. The typography used throughout the site is meant to look sort of handwritten while being paired with a clean sans serif font to provide information about what is sold here.
